When two worlds collide...

The impact created when two very 'different' things come together can be massive.

In work, life, and also in art, as beautifully demonstrated by the latest wonderfully intricate work of artist Caroline Harrius.

Caroline meticulously blends the fine art of porcelain ceramics with intricate needlework, creating these fragile blended works from her own experimental porcelain vases. The resultant Blue Memories series, on show next week at Kaolin in Stockholm, looks incredible!

It’s great to mix things up and take influence and inspiration from elsewhere, something I always try to do in all my design work, in order, as Caroline says “…to see how large and fragile I can work without collapsing.”

Same. Same.
