I spotted this banner the other day on a long visit to A&E for my daughter, who had hit her head when she jumped into an open window. During those 7 hours, we passed this pull-up banner at least 3 times, and on our way out for the last time, I stopped to look and did a double-take. Was it was me with concussion?
Very progressive, I thought, but is there really a need for an anonymous support group for the families of those of us affected by AI already?! I mean, there is a lot of talk and scaremongering about the effects of AI in the creative industries, but a support group…?? On my last pass, I bothered to stop and read the strapline, and it all began to make a lot more sense.
Now I’m sure “AL-ANON” is a great cause, and much-needed no doubt, but not at all what I first thought! I’ve popped the link to them below in case you want to find out more. Small details matter, typography matters, legibility matters.
And if you need help with the making beautiful, legible designs and branding, do get in touch!
